History of the Methodist School

The Methodist School was founded in 1921 by Methodist missionaries and for the last 100+ years it has been the leading Christian bilingual school in Costa Rica.  The Methodist School is a private K-11 educational facility with approximately 600 students.  The school is located in Sabanilla, east of downtown San José.  The school´s administration and staff are committed to exalting Jesus Christ in all of its academic programs.

Our Ministry With The School

Ray has been a member of the Board of Directors for 25+ years and is currently serving as its president.  The Board works closely with the Director of the school and its administrators to ensure that the school grows in both its commitment to academic excellence and its goal that each student has an opportunity to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
