The Methodist Seminary was founded in 1989 by Dr. Luis Palomo, since its inception it has played a vital role in the formation of pastors and leaders for the Methodist church. The Seminary campus is located in San Pedro only a few minutes from downtown San Jose. There are approximately 40 students enrolled in the main campus. Plus, an additional 300 students attend our twenty regional seminaries.
Seminary students attend intensive one week sessions held the first week of every month. Two morning and two afternoon sessions are held daily. In addition to the regular class curriculum, visiting professors or invited speakers conduct workshops and special training seminars during the week.
